Sitting at the top of the try-scoring tally for the Club is Daniel Tupou, breaking the record at the Gabba in 2023.

In doing so, Tupou moved beyond the record set by Anthony Minichiello, who is the only member on the top ten list to record 300 games. Kiwi fan favourite Shaun Kenny-Dowall sits in third place with 121 tries.

Bill Mullins, the first to hit a century of four-pointers for the Club is next, while Immortal and Hall of Famer Dave Brown has an incredible 93 tries from 94 appearances.

Prolific: Anthony Minichiello not only made over 300 appearances for the Roosters, but sits at the top of the Club's try-scoring list, with 139.

27 Rod O'Loan, 1935 20 Rod O'Loan, 1936
25 Fred Tottey, 1936 20 Michael Jennings, 2013
23 Bill Mullins, 1974

Dave Brown's try-scoring feats are in the fabric of Rugby League folklore, where he set a record (which still stands today) by amassing an incredible 38 tries in the 1935 season, which also saw winger Rod O'Loan touch down 27 times.

The following season Fred Tottey scored 25 times in another Premiership season for the Club, and it wouldn't be until 1974 where another player would score more than 20 times in a season being mercurial winger Bill Mullins.

In 2010 Shaun Kenny-Dowall reached 21 tries as the Roosters made the Grand Final, before Michael Jennings dotted down 20 times in 2013, with his final four-pointer sealing the Club's thirteenth title.

5 Gordon Wright vs Balmain, Round 10, 1920

Dave Brown once again features prominently in this list a record three times, however, it's his teammate Rod O'Loan who has the record for the most tries scored in a single match.

In arguably the Club's greatest season in 1935, O'Loan touched down a record seven times against University in Round 5, where the Tricolours notched up a crushing 61-5 victory.

736 James Maloney from 79 games (2013-2015) 679 Latrell Mitchell from 96 games (2016-2019)

No one player boasts the point-scoring record of champion second rower and former captain Craig Fitzgibbon, who broke legendary fullback Allan McKean's record in 2006 before going on to become the first player in Club history to notch 1000 points.

Other prominent point-scorers for the Club include 2013 premiership winning five eighth James Maloney (736 points), sharpshooter Ivan Cleary (722 points) and dual-Premiership centres John Brass (715 points) and Latrell Mitchell (679 points).

273 Latrell Mitchell, 2019 252 James Maloney, 2013

Ivan Cleary holds the distinction of scoring the most points in a season for the Club in 1998, where he scored 13 tries and kicked 116 goals.

Latrell Mitchell trails him by just ten points in the 2019 season which saw the Club claim their 15th Premiership, while Mike Eden broke Dave Brown's long-standing record of 244 points in 1983.

That season - while the value of tries increased from three points to four - Eden's twelve tries and 103 goals and two field goals would have seen him level with Brown's record.

Other sharpshooting seasons with the boot include Todd Carney (255 points in 2010) and James Maloney (252 points in 2013 and 250 points in 2015).

Brown piled on another 38 points against the competition's new side later that season, while Mike Eden nailed 11 goals and scored a try to tally 26 points against St George in his record-breaking season.

Most recently, powerful centre Latrell Mitchell tallied 26 points twice in the same season, with three tries and seven goals against the Wests Tigers before a brace and nine goals against the Gold Coast Titans in a dominant 2019 season.

Sam Walker came close to equalling Eden and Mitchell's record of 26 points, two shy in the 72-6 demolition of the Tigers in 2022, where Walker booted a perfect 12/12 goals for 24 points.

The young halfback equalled his personal best on ANZAC Day, 2024 with ten goals and a try in the side's 60-18 thumping of St George Illawarra, which saw him awarded with a second Ashton Collier Spirit of ANZAC Medal.

Halfback Sam Walker etched his name in Club history in Round 23 of the 2022 season, breaking Mike Eden's 39-year second-placed record with an astonishing 12 goals against the Wests Tigers in the aforementioned 72-6 victory.

Eden's effort against St George is third with eleven, while Wally Messenger (1916 vs Western Suburbs), Brown (1935 vs Canterbury), Allan McKean (1972 vs Parramatta Eels) and James Maloney (2013 vs Wests Tigers) have all hit double digits in the goal-kicking department in a single match.

Walker joined Brown as the only two Roosters to kick ten or more goals in a game in his perfect effort against St George Illawarra on ANZAC Day, 2024.
